Spain's first Four Seasons, opened in September 2020 inside Centro Canalejas — seven historic early-20th-century bank buildings merged into a single 200-room hotel, two minutes from Puerta del Sol.
The hotel occupies the former Palacio de la Equitativa and six neighbouring historic buildings, restored and internally unified as part of the roughly €500 million Centro Canalejas redevelopment — one of the largest heritage restoration projects in Madrid's recent history. Original bank vaults from the buildings' former lives are repurposed inside the hotel, including one that now forms part of the entrance. The complex also houses 22 private residences and the Galería Canalejas luxury shopping mall.
200 rooms and suites (among the most spacious in central Madrid), a large multi-floor wellness centre, an indoor pool, and rooftop dining from Spanish chef Dani García. Direct interior access connects guests to the Galería Canalejas shopping gallery.
