NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding

A high-rise, 412-room convention hotel in Chamartín, Madrid's financial district — built for business travellers and conferences, but well placed for anyone visiting the Bernabéu.

What it is

Unlike most of the historic properties on this list, the Eurobuilding is unapologetically modern — a purpose-built high-rise convention hotel surrounded by Madrid's skyline landmarks: the Kio Towers, Picasso Tower and the wider Azca business district. With 412 rooms and around 30 meeting and event rooms accommodating up to 900 people, it's one of Europe's larger convention hotels rather than a boutique stay.

What's on site

The hotel's dining draws real attention: DiverXO, chef David Muñoz's three-Michelin-star restaurant, operates on site, alongside more casual options including a sushi bar and a all-day dining spot. Rooms are contemporary and functional, some with balconies and skyline views; a spa and gym round out the amenities.

Location

On Padre Damián street in Chamartín, a short walk from Cuzco Metro station (Line 10) and around 10–15 minutes' walk from the Santiago Bernabéu stadium — genuinely convenient if a match or stadium tour is part of your trip. It's a taxi or Metro ride rather than a walk from the historic centre, unlike most hotels covered elsewhere on this site.

Who it suits

Business travellers and conference attendees first; also a solid pick for anyone prioritising proximity to the Bernabéu and the Castellana business corridor over walking distance to Plaza Mayor or the Prado.

Good to know

Book DiverXO well in advance if you want to eat there — three-Michelin-star tables in Madrid sell out weeks ahead regardless of whether you're a hotel guest.
